Welcome to INWARD: a psychotherapy practice. When learning coping skills doesn’t seem to be enough, it is time to look inward. Love, joy, and belonging start within us while pain and disconnection come from learning through adverse experiences to hide, deny, and reject who we are. By exploring the depths of your unconscious, you can reconnect with and learn to love your authentic self which can lead to more inner peace and healthier relationships. I invite you on a journey inward so that you can return home to yourself.

Teen Therapy in Orange County
Adolescence can be a wonderful but complicated time. Teens are forming their own identities while trying to fit in with peers and meet the expectations of teachers, parents, and coaches. Teens often feel misunderstood by those around them, afraid to burden the people they love with their emotions, or shy to admit the thoughts/feelings they think no one else has. I provide a safe space where young clients can speak honestly about their experiences without fear of judgment and learn coping skills to help manage big emotions.
Therapy for Students & Young Professionals
College students and young professionals are going through transitional times in their lives. They are learning how to navigate life on their own while balancing new responsibilities, changes in relationships, and the building of their adult identities. Many find themselves feeling anxious, depressed, stuck, or lost when unforeseen challenges come their way, their life expectations aren’t met, or childhood wounds become harder to ignore. I support clients with coping with current stressors, overcoming perfectionism, and processing grief and trauma from the past.
Depth Psychotherapy
I work with clients to become more authentic versions of themselves rather than “better” versions. I help clients explore the thoughts, emotions, and desires that they have learned to hide from others and themselves. This helps clients become more self-aware as they are able to see what previously unconscious motives have been fueling their daily lives. Through this process, clients often develop more self-compassion, a stronger sense of self, and a greater distress tolerance. They also may notice a decrease in anxiety and depression symptoms as well as a decrease in maladaptive coping behaviors (people-pleasing, perfectionism, avoidance, etc.).
